TITLE: TBmeji
PROJECT TYPE: Digital, Shimeji, Executable
RATIONALE: To have some god damn fun.

INITIAL THOUGHTS
The TBMEJI (wherein TB surprisingly does not stand for Tuberculosis) was a gift (to myself) I promised I would complete prior to November 2022. The gesture is essentially a reminder to give myself time to make silly and indulgent things.

Shimejis are not as complicated to make in hindsight, but as a kid, I had always wondered what sort of wizardry or patience was required to do so. As an adult, what I wonder now is if there is a more efficient way I can create them, or at least have some sort of material to work with afterwards which could be reused, recycled, or downloaded by others to more easily make their own shimejis...so far though, it remains to be seen. Despite their simplicity, I do not think I had ever fully completed a shimeji in my youth, so really, I should not be too cocky and overconfident about the undertaking so far.

That said...I think things are going quite well :)

Initially had started to color a few of the frames before recognizing my own haste, and went back to working on rough/incomplete frames to test out basic animations. So far, so good. The progress is a little slow lately because of a lot of IRL obligations, but I am not feeling demotivated

My tablet pen was not responsive earlier today, which in the past, would have caused me great frustration and grief. But this time, it seemed only a minor inconvenience, later resolved when I realized I had failed to plug in one of the cables into my computer. Silly!

NEXT MOVES: Continue working on filling out all the frames in b/w.
